Vad som har hänt i sagan, skall hända även mig! – a choral suite based on five poems by Edith Södergran – will be premiered on May 9, 2015, at 4PM in Wesleykyrkan, Malmö. The piece is a commission by Körcentrum Syd and the choir Mixtus Cantus who will be performing the piece in concert.

En studie i instängdhet was premiered at Fångtornet, Malmöhus on Oct. 25, 2014.

I have been commissioned by Körcentrum Syd and the choir Mixtus Cantus (which I also conduct) to compose a choral work for a concert in May 2015.

A Study in Confinement (En studie i instängdhet), a newly composed piece of chamber music drama, will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 25 2014, in Fångtornet, Malmöhus slott, Malmö.

It is a theatrical chamber performance featuring precomposed and improvised material related to the themes confinement, captivity and imprisonment. Five musicians (recorder, trombone, soprano, percussion, viola) embody characters representing different aspects of the theme. Three performances will be given, at 1.00 pm, 2.15 pm and 3.30 pm.

The work is commissioned, produced and performed with support from Konstnärsnämnden (Swedish Arts Grants Committee), Musikverket (Swedish Performing Arts Agency) and Helge Ax:son Johnsons stiftelse.

My new piece Mermaid Memories for recorder and prepared piano was premiered on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Inter Arts Center in Malmö. The piece was commissioned and performed by Ida Höög, recorder, and Anna Christensson, piano, with support from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee (Konstnärsnämnden).
