A Study in Confinement (En studie i instängdhet), premiere Oct. 25, 2014

A Study in Confinement (En studie i instängdhet), a newly composed piece of chamber music drama, will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 25 2014, in Fångtornet, Malmöhus slott, Malmö.

It is a theatrical chamber performance featuring precomposed and improvised material related to the themes confinement, captivity and imprisonment. Five musicians (recorder, trombone, soprano, percussion, viola) embody characters representing different aspects of the theme. Three performances will be given, at 1.00 pm, 2.15 pm and 3.30 pm.

Mermaid Memories, premiere Nov. 10

My new piece Mermaid Memories for recorder and prepared piano was premiered on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Inter Arts Center in Malmö. The piece was commissioned and performed by Ida Höög, recorder, and Anna Christensson, piano, with support from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee (Konstnärsnämnden).
